What does coaching look like?

50 minute individual virtual or in person coaching sessions for you to share your experience and be heard, gain support, set and work toward goals, make lifestyle changes, and infuse hope and joy into life again. My coaching revolves around understanding the neuroscience of pain and using the knowledge of how our bodies work to our advantage.

Learn and practice evidence-based tools to regulate the nervous system and reduce the cycle of pain and fear. Techniques include somatic tracking, visualization and breathing exercises, expressive writing, practicing self-compassion, and mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR).
​
Typically, clients meet with me weekly for anywhere from 2 to 12 months. For some clients, just one session is enough to change their relationship with pain.
Clients can choose to pay per session ($140/session) or purchase coaching packages for a reduced rate.

I work with clients virtually in all 50 states (and worldwide). If preferred, I make house calls in the DC Metro Area.

Currently, insurance does not cover health and wellness coaching. This will hopefully change in the near future.
